Dogs are allowed into the showground but must be on a lead at all times unless taking part in the dog activities in the show. Dogs are not allowed into the livestock area or marquees where food is displayed/served/eaten. Please do not leave dogs unattended in any vehicle as cars and lorries can get extremely hot!!
Disabled Parking/Access
The parking attendants will do their best to find a suitable area for disabled parking but hard-standing is very limited at the entrance to the showground. The show is held on parkland (grass) and whilst we all hope for a good summer, wheelchair access may be difficult if there has been a lot of rain!

The first Gower Show was held on the 20th September 1906 in the grounds of Penrice Castle by kind permission of Miss Emily Talbot. There were 480 entries, and the show was hailed as a great success.
Shows like the Gower Show could not exist without the fantastic support of Sponsors. We are always pleased to consider sponsorship of some of our classes or main ring events. Contact us today to find out more.
