The 2018 Gower Show is set to be another great event with a range of new and popular attractions from previous years.
ROCKWOOD DOG DISPLAY TEAM
The Rockwood Dog Display Team provides great family taking the audience through every aspect of dog training from obedience performed to music, dogs jumping through 10inch hoops, agility, fly ball and active Man Work where a dog is seen to apprehend an armed criminal. The dog display delights the audience with their comedy routines and tricks.
“THE LITTLE NIPPERS” – TERRIER RACING TEAM
Having made their 1st visit to Gower Show three years ago, back by popular demand we welcome “Little Nippers”. Phill Gibbons and his racing terriers are one of the leading terrier racing display teams in the country today. These great little dogs will have you in fits of laughter with their crazy antics. Members of the audience are encouraged to take part with their own dogs too. Even the kids have a chance to participate and can race against one of these little terriers.
NOVELTY DOG SHOW
An event that increases in popularity every year, the Novelty Dog Show is back and we are expecting a record number of entries. There will be two rings running sim simultaneously starting at 1pm.

MEIRION OWEN’S QUACK PACK
New to the Gower Show is Meirion Owen’s Quack Pack which provides hilariously entertaining duck herding demonstrations. The Quack Pack team of border collies and comical Indian Runner ducks provide entertaining, educational and interactive displays allowing hands-on adult and child participation combined with Merion’s own humorous commentary as he guides the dogs and cooperative (and sometimes uncooperative) Indian Runner ducks around a course that includes tunnels, slides and pens.
RURAL CRAFTS AND COUNTRY SKILLS
After it’s outstanding success over the past two years, the rural crafts and country skills will be returning this year with added attractions. More details will follow. The exhibitors will be in full traditional costume and you will have a chance to talk to them and even have a go at some of these skills. Make sure you go and see the exhibition and find out what is involved in keeping these traditional crafts alive.
